New PNC regional headquarters opens in Dayton

PNC Bank’s new regional headquarters in downtown Dayton will officially open to the public Monday morning.

Located at the corner of Patterson Boulevard and East Monument Avenue, the building is the first phase of the Water Street District development located along the city’s riverfront. The 50,000 square foot building will also feature a retail branch inside the main lobby and was designed to achieve the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED Certification for commercial interiors, the company said in a release.

“The move to our new local headquarters location underscores our commitment to the downtown area and the entire region,” said David Melin, PNC regional president in Dayton. “We believe it is essential to keep PNC in our urban core, and the Water Street development is a reflection of our long-term commitment to the Miami Valley.”

The new PNC headquarters is also the first privately developed office building in downtown Dayton in over 20 years and is a part of the $45 million Water Street District urban revitalization project
