Deputy Daron Rhoads and his K-9 partner Kaiser were working in the area of state Route 4 near Lesourdsville West Chester Road when they saw a vehicle make several traffic violations, the Hamilton Journal News reported.
When Rhoads stopped the vehicle, Kaiser walked around the vehicle and alerted Rhoads to the presence of narcotics. The vehicle was searched and 2.2 pounds of fentanyl were reportedly found in the back seat of the vehicle, Hamilton Journal News reported.
The drugs were concealed underneath a pile of clothes wrapped in cellophane, grease and drier sheets, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office reported.
