According to a release, officials responded to the business located at 4725 N. Main Street around 9:40 p.m.
Preliminary investigation revealed two black males, wearing ski masks and gloves entered the business brandishing handguns. They ordered the clerks to the ground and proceeded to remove currency from the registers. The suspects then fled the business in a southwesterly direction.
A K-9 unit was brought to the scene with unsuccessful attempts in locating the subjects, the release said.
The matter remains under investigation.
