Ohio gym teacher sentenced to four years for sex with students

Stacy Schuler, 33, had sex with the Mason High School students at her Springboro home in 2010.

She had been a teacher and athletic trainer at the school since 2000.

Schuler could have received up to 80 years behind bars.
One legal expert said even the four years was excessive.

"Four years seems a little heavy handed to me. Obviously, the boys came to her and they kept coming and they invited their friends," said Mark Krumbein.

After the verdict and sentence were announced, Warren County prosecutor David Fornshell thought that the judge made the right decision.

"We're satisfied and the family's satisfied with verdict of guilty on all counts. As for the sentence, they were somewhat satisfied, but a little concerned that she would potentially be eligible for judicial relase after six months," said Fornshell.
