Nixon said accidents on this road is common because it’s busy, especially around the holidays.

“It’s that time of year where everybody’s trying to get last-minute things done for Christmas and the holidays. You’re going to see a lot of it, especially around the bus stops here around these busy streets,” he said. “With today’s technology and the lack of attention by drivers, driver inattention in general, you’re going to see this all the time.”
