The woman driving the van was traveling west on Old Columbus Road around 4 p.m. when she was struck on the passenger side by the utility vehicle headed south on state Route 54, according to the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Both drivers suffered only minor injuries in the crash and were taken to area hospitals: The woman was taken to Madison Health in London and the man driving the Ohio Edison truck was taken to Springfield Regional Medical Center.
The minivan driver was cited for failure to yield at a stop sign, troopers said.
