I-75 reopens in both directions in Montgomery County for utility line repairs

All lanes of Interstate 75 have reopened between Needmore and Ohio 4.

The highway was shut down in both directions as DP&L crews made repairs to utility lines damaged in Monday’s storms.

Both directions of Interstate 75 are shut down between Needmore Road and Ohio 4 for DP&L crews to make repairs to utility lines damaged in Monday’s tornadoes.

The closure is expected to last around 30 minutes to an hour, according to officials and initial reports.

Delays are currently reported in both directions of I-75 between Needmore Road and Ohio 4 due to DP&L crews making repairs to utility lines.

A complete closure of both sides of the highway was expected for 30 minutes starting around noon, however, traffic is getting through those areas. Delays are still currently reported in the area.

Surface streets are already expected to be heavy in volume due to storm damage and road closures in areas around Needmore Road and Ohio 4.
