The City of West Carrollton paid more than $6 million on its employee payroll last year, according to the Dayton Daily News Payroll Project.
Out of 192 people employed by West Carrollton in 2018, the city paid 55 employees more than $50,000, new data in the Payroll Project shows. Four employees were paid more than $100,000.
Local governments make payroll with your tax money, which is why the Dayton Daily News has assembled and made available a searchable database of pay for public employees who made $50,000 or more last year. That means the database does not include West Carrollton Mayor Jeff Sanner, who the city paid $7,500 in 2018, records show.
