The crash was reported at 7:52 p.m. near Bunnell Hill Road.
According to the Lebanon Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, investigation found that Tommy E. Abner, 48, of Wilmington, was driving westbound on Route 73 in a 1994 Chevrolet 1500 pickup when he crossed the center line and crashed into a 2018 Honda Civic driving the other way.
Murray was driving the Civic. Abner was transported to the Kettering Medical Center with minor injuries. There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
OSHP said that “impairment” is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
OSHP was joined at the scene by the Clearcreek Twp. Police Department, Springboro Police Department and Clearcreek Twp. Fire & EMS.
