Pileup crash reported on US-35 WB near Steve Whalen Boulevard, 35 re-opened

UPDATE @ 12:10 p.m.: 

The left lane of US-35 WB appears to be open according to ODOT cameras near the site of the crash.

INITIAL REPORT:

Scanner traffic indicates that a semi-trailer and a Prius were involved in the crash.

Eyewitnesses indicate that one vehicle is on top of a guard rail.

A portion of US-35 WB is shut down while the accident is cleared.

Additional reports indicate one of the vehicles involved has fled the scene.

Injuries are unclear at this time, but a medic is on the scene.
