A man facing a public indecency charge in Fairborn was arrested after he allegedly exposed himself in a vehicle while he was watching a girls softball team practice, according to 9-1-1 records.
Police have confirmed the arrest of 63-year-old Charles Akers, who has been jailed since his arrest Saturday evening at a park near South Central Avenue and Ohio Street.
This news organization obtained the 9-1-1 call from Fairborn police through a public records request.

"We're at a softball practice for a whole bunch of little girls and there was a gentleman that was over here that exposed himself inside the car that was sitting over here watching these girls practice," the caller told the dispatcher.
The caller described the man’s vehicle, a gold four-door Honda, and provided the license plate, according to the 9-1-1 record.
“We have multiple officers in the area looking for that vehicle now,” the emergency dispatcher told the caller.
Akers is due to be arraigned in Fairborn Municipal Court on Thursday.

Charles Allen Akers, 63, was arrested Saturday at or near the Fairborn YMCA at South Central Avenue and Ohio Street, according to Greene County jail records.
Akers is being held on suspicion of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and public indecency, according to jail records.
A social media post on Facebook about Akers’ arrest has gone viral, with more than 1,484 shares. According to the post and dozens of comments on it, the man’s alleged offenses occurred while he was watching a girls softball game and sitting in his car in the parking lot near the practice field.
