UPDATE @ 2:30 p.m. (June 1):
Montgomery County prosecutors have approved several charges against Joshua Beall, 29, of Fairborn, including two counts of murder in the killing of Donald E. Armstrong III in a Maryland Avenue apartment in Dayton on Wednesday night, as well as single counts of attempted murder, felonious assault, complicity to commit robbery, and having weapons as a felon.
Casey Cole, 19, of Seaman, Ohio, will be charged with robbery, according to the prosecutor’s office.
The charges against both could be added to or changed once the cases are presented to a grand jury.
Beall is to be arraigned Monday stemming from a carjacking in Huber Heights this week. The charges include aggravated robbery, grand theft of a motor vehicle and having weapons as a felon.
Dayton police have identified Beall as a suspect in the Maryland Avenue homicide, which occurred a few hours before a pursuit involving the car stolen in Huber Heights. That pursuit ended in a crash and the arrest of Beall and Cole.

Beall also is suspected of robbing the Unity National Bank in Troy last week, Troy police said Thursday afternoon.
Franklin police had previously said the suspected robber in the Troy case was believed to be the same man who robbed the Union Savings Bank on May 25, however they have not confirmed whether Beall is the person they were looking for.
Cole has been identified as a suspect in the robbery at Oakwood’s LCNB Bank on Far Hills Avenue Wednesday afternoon, Oakwood Public Safety Director Alan Hill said.

Sharonville police also list Beavercreek as a location of two bank robberies Beall and Cole are suspected of committing. Beavercreek police said they cannot comment on the identity of any suspects in the two robberies.
“We are currently working closely with other agencies to help identify the suspect responsible for the two recent bank robberies in Beavercreek,” a police spokesman said in an emailed statement Thursday.

Whether Beall and Cole are connected to a Tuesday robbery of a U.S. Bank location inside a Meijer grocery store is not known. The branch was robbed for the second time in four days, according to Beavercreek police.
HOW THE PURSUIT BEGAN
Sharonville police said they were contacted by the Dayton police Department on Wednesday requesting assistance in locating an armed robbery suspect near Lebanon. Officers encountered Beall and Cole in a vehicle.
As officers approached, the vehicle fled and a pursuit began.
Black-and-white dash-cam video, obtained through a public records request from Sharonville police, shows the pursuit in which the suspect vehicle fails to negotiate a left turn at a T-intersection.
The vehicle crashes on Glendale-Milford Road at Wyscarver Drive.
Police approach the car, which is upside down up against a house, and take the two people in it into custody.

BEALL’S CRIMINAL HISTORY
According to a search of court records, Beall has had contacts in both Montgomery and Greene County Common Pleas Courts.
He was put on probation in Greene County for both a 2007 case involving cocaine, aggravated drug possession and possessing criminal tools and a 2008 identity fraud case.
Court records indicate he violated his community control in both cases and was sentenced to three years in prison.
Beall also had a 2009 case in Montgomery County accusing him of attempted robbery and possession of criminal tools. He was granted probation and the sentence was to be served concurrently with the Greene County cases.
