WATCH VIDEO: Beavercreek road rage suspect set for trial

UPDATE @ 4:15 p.m. (Jan. 24, 2018):

A jury trial has been set for the man police said was involved in a road rage incident on I-675 in Beavercreek last year.

Carl Armstrong, 31, of Brookville, is charged with criminal damaging and assault stemming from the June 2 incident, police said.

Armstrong’s trial is scheduled fo begin Feb. 7 in Fairborn Municipal Court and he’s pleaded not guilty to the charges.

UPDATE @ 11:15 a.m. (June 6, 2017)

Police have identified the driver in Friday’s road rage incident involving a vehicle and motorcyclist on the U.S. Route 35 ramp to Interstate 675. Police say no arrests have been made and the incident is still under investigation.

UPDATE @11:38 a.m. 

Police believe the road rage incident started on U.S. Route 35 east in Montgomery County after a black or gray four-door car cut off a motorcycle.

The car and the motorcycle stopped on the ramp to Interstate 675 from Route 35, and the drivers argued.

The car driver allegedly punched the motorcyclist and kicked the bike, according to police.

The motorcycle driver reported injuries to his face, and refused to be transported by emergency medical crews.

Two drivers called 911 and reported the incident.

The incident is still under investigation.

BEAVERCREEK — City officers are investigating a reported road rage incident involving a vehicle and motorcyclist Friday morning on the U.S. Route 35 ramp to Interstate 675.

Emergency crews responded to the scene. The motorcyclist is reported to have some minor injuries, but has not been transported.
