Police investigating shooting death of Dayton woman

Police are investigating a shooting that killed a 26-year-old Dayton woman.

Ashley Baker was found in the 900 block of Windsor Avenue, according to Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger, but it was not immediately clear when she was discovered.

Her death has been ruled a homicide.

We have reached out to Dayton police for information and will update this story as we learn more.
