The investigation, led by the Tactical Crime Suppression Unit and Kettering police, involved SWAT units at the Claypool Apartments in the 1500 block of Woodman Drive.

The search was a result of a month-long investigation into suspected drug activity at the apartment, according to Kettering police Sgt. Robert J. Green.

Two people, a man and a woman, surrendered and were taken into custody without incident, Green said.

The identities and potential charges for the two people arrested were not immediately available.

Investigators are still looking for one person who was not at the scene when police executed the search, Green said.

Investigators found drugs during the search of the apartment, but additional details about what was seized were not released.

The Montgomery County Animal Resource Center responded to remove a dog from the apartment, officials said.

No injuries were reported.
