A road rage incident led to Todd Swallows, 22, of Brookville, being charged with assault after he allegedly hit a man who stopped at the intersection of Dixie Highway and Ohio 122. The other driver was transported to Atrium Medical Center for facial injuries.

While on patrol, officers noticed a suspicious vehicle in the 200 block of Queen Avenue. The female who was being dropped off gave police the wrong name and social security number. Erica Davis, 31, of Franklin, was charged with falsification, her bench warrant through Montgomery County and for possession of a counterfeit substance, which was found to be drywall.
Two females walked into CVS Pharmacy, 820 S. Breiel Blvd., and left with two bottles of detergent, Tide pods, and four Febreeze candles, totaling $63.53. Police received a copy of the video from the incident.
An Emerson flat-screen TV and jewelry were stolen from a residence in the 4900 block of Manchester Road.
July 2
A man who lives in the 300 block of South Highview Road said he had his girlfriend and three children over to his home, and when they left, he discovered four silver dollars and a silver ounce bar missing. The items are valued at $200.
Joseph Miller, 26, of Gratis, was charged with two counts of petty theft for allegedly stealing $16 worth of items from Dollar General, 671 N. University Blvd. Nicholas Warndorf, 23, of Lebanon, was arrested for complicity to petty theft.
A black Sunbeam Grillmaster, valued at $100, was stolen from a residence in the 100 block of McKinley Street.
Kyle Joseph, 19, of Seventeenth Avenue, was charged with petty theft after he allegedly tried to steal a Toro lawn mower, valued at $80, from a residence in the 600 block of Louis Place.
An air conditioner that was inside an unlocked camper in the 100 block of Iglehart Street was reported stolen. The unit was valued at $120.
Two men walked into Walmart, 2900 Towne Blvd., and allegedly walked out with two desktop computers, both valued at $1,000. The store burned a copy of the video for the police department.
A woman who lives in the 1500 block of Jackson Lane said someone stole her wallet that contained $80 in cash, an ID and social security card.
