Pope has suggestion on what to give up for Lent — being an Internet troll

Pope Francis was less than genial after a woman yanked his arm as he greeted pilgrims at St. Peter's Square.

Still looking for something to give up for Lent?

Well, Pope Francis has a suggestion — stop being an Internet troll.

While speaking to thousands of people in Saint Peter's Square in Rome, Italy, the Pope said we live in an atmosphere polluted by too much verbal violence.

He asked people to give up useless words, gossip and rumors.

This also comes at a time when Facebook is making an effort to ban some misleading ads.

The social media site said it is banning deceptive ads about the Coronavirus, including ones that promote false cures and medical treatments.

Facebook will also no longer allow ads that create a sense of urgency to promote a product.
