RANGE Task Force, FBI raids 3 Dayton-area properties

Local and federal agents helped carry out a major drug crackdown Friday morning.

Members of the Montgomery County Regional Agencies Narcotics & Gun Enforcement and FBI Safe Streets task forces hit three locations along North Main Street.

One of the goals of the operation is to cut down on the drug-dealing that plagues both sides of Main Street, officials said.

The warrants were executed in connection to drug deals along North Main Street in Dayton and into other parts of the county, officials said.

Locations that were raided included a home off Gettysburg Avenue near Hoover Avenue; an apartment in the 4300 block of Old Riverside Drive and a home on Old Riverside Drive.

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has not released any details on whether anyone was arrested or what was seized from the properties.
