The job specializes in programming and performing a variety of professional and administrative work, according to the city’s website. They will plan, develop, direct and implement the city’s year-round, city wide recreation program that includes the summertime day camp for youths.
The position can entail programming at the Recreation Center, and it will oversee programs such as the pre-school, youth, adults, the Rec Center’s child care room, indoor playground, special events, teens, athletics and fitness.
The applicant will be responsible for the interviews, hiring, training and supervising part-time staff, and supervision of all childcare functions and facilities at the Rec Center.
