A Dayton fire engine and police cruiser were blocking traffic for the safety of first responders when a woman in a Pontiac drove around the vehicles.
She also went around the barricade and almost hit multiple first responders, according to the report.

She drove through the closed lanes after crews signaled for her to stop and she took the Salem Avenue exit.
A Dayton police officer stopped the vehicle just off the exit ramp.
The woman told the officer that she was scared her car would stall or stop because she needed gas, according to the report.

The officer reportedly told the woman about Ohio’s Move Over law and told her to not drive through closed lanes directed by police.
The woman received multiple citations, according to the report, but they were not listed.
