About 6 a.m. Monday, Glatfelter’s vehicle crashed while driving south on U.S. 68. He was not wearing a seat belt, the investigation revealed.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police found the driver still in the vehicle after the crash, according to state troopers.
The driver traveled almost 300 yards before swerving from one side of the road to the other hitting multiple items and coming to a stop.
"Actually went off the east side of the roadway, just north of us,” said Ohio State Highway Patrol Sgt. Paul Lezotte. “And then drifted back over across the right side of the road. As you can see he went through a fence, struck a corner of a building and then a cement water retention wall."
The crash marks the fifth fatal accident in Greene County this year.

Troopers said they believe a medical condition is to blame for a fatal crash in Greene County Monday morning.
The identity of the driver has not been released, but troopers did say the fatality is 40-year-old white male of Springfield.

One person is dead in a crash on U.S. 68 in Greene County, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
FIRST REPORT
One person is reportedly trapped inside a vehicle following a crash on U.S. 68 in Greene County Monday morning.
Deputies and medics were first dispatched to the crash around 6:20 a.m. on U.S. 68 north of Ohio 235.
The vehicle reportedly slammed into a tree and trapped the driver inside.
