The 28-year-old male was no longer listed as a patient at Miami Valley Hospital on Monday morning.
He reportedly suffered a stab wound to the neck early Friday morning.
A preliminary hearing for the suspect, Jordan Tyler, was set for July 26 at the Fairborn Municipal Court.

Charges have been filed in a Friday morning stabbing in Fairborn.
Jordan Tyler, 21, was charged with felonious assault and carrying a concealed weapon, according to Fairborn police.

A suspect in an early Friday morning stabbing on Princeton Avenue is in custody, according to Fairborn police.

The suspect, identified as Jordan Kylee Tyler, 21 according to jail records, was located at the scene before being taken into custody, police said.
Tyler was booked in the Fairborn City Jail on a charge of felonious assault, records show.
The victim, a 28-year-old man, is at Miami Valley Hospital, but his condition is unknown.
UPDATE @ 2:30 a.m: Fairborn police are investigating after a person was found with a stab wound to the neck in Fairborn early Friday.
Officials responded to the 800 block of Princeton Avenue just after midnight and found an individual in the yard with an apparent stab wound to the neck.
The victim was transported to Miami Valley Hospital. Their condition is not known.
A person of interest was on scene when police arrived and was detained for questioning, according to officials.
The victim’s identity is not being released at this time.
INITIAL REPORT
At least one person has been injured in a stabbing reported in the 800 block of Princeton Avenue in Fairborn.
Police were dispatched about 12:10 a.m. on the report. We're hearing the suspect is in the area and was last seen wearing a red shirt.
The condition of the victim is not known.
