Miami Twp. police filed charges of robbery, assault on a police officer, and failure to comply against Bizzell with the Montgomery County prosecutor’s office, according to a news release.
Bizzell was booked into the Montgomery County Jail on suspicion of petty theft.

A 24-year-old Dayton woman accused of shoplifting Monday afternoon at the Dayton Mall JCPenney store is in jail after police say she hit an officer with her car while she was trying to get away.

A woman accused of shoplifting at the JCPenney at the Dayton Mall allegedly ran over a police officer trying to stop her, leading police on a brief chase before crashing in Kettering Monday afternoon, according to the Miami Twp. Police Department in Montgomery County.

The officer was assisting store security guards when the woman broke free from the security guards and made a break for the parking lot, police said.
The officer chased after the woman and caught up to her as she was trying to get into her car, grabbing her.
The woman broke free from the officer and got in the car, putting the car in reverse, dragging the police officer, and hitting a tree as she fled the mall, police said.
The woman hit another car before she sped off on Mad River Road.
The officer was not seriously injured, authorities said.
After fleeing, the woman allegedly hit a car on state Route 725 as police pursued her, officers said.
During the pursuit, the woman lost control of her car and wrecked near the intersection of West Rahn Road and Far Hills Avenue, police said.
Police have taken the woman into custody.

One person has been taken into custody following a police pursuit that is believed to be connected to an officer that was hit by a car at the Dayton Mall.
Kettering police pursued a vehicle that matched the description of a car that reportedly hit an officer near JCPenney a the Dayton Mall, police scanner traffic indicates.
The pursuit ended near the intersection of West Rahn Road and Far Hills Avenue with at least one person taken into custody, reports indicate.
The condition of the officer hit was not immediately known.

A medic has been requested after an officer was reportedly hit by a car near JCPenney at the Dayton Mall, according to initial reports.
An officer reported they were hit by a car on Mall Ring Road near the JCPenney location around 12:30 p.m., police scanner traffic indicates.
The vehicle, described as a four-door sedan, fled the scene, reports indicate.
The condition of the officer was not immediately known.
