A motion has been filed for a 16-year-old male accused of raping two women at gunpoint to be tried as an adult.

The Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office filed a motion to transfer the teen’s case to adult court, according to a press release.

The 16-year-old was charged with rape, kidnapping, aggravated burglary and aggravated robbery.

He reportedly raped a 24-year-old and 34-year-old at gunpoint on two separate occasions in early December.

DNA evidence left at the scenes led to the teen's arrest, according to Trotwood police.

“This 16-year-old defendant entered into the home of strangers in the cover of night and raped two women at gunpoint,” said Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. “We will not tolerate juveniles brandishing a firearm and committing violent felonies. This defendant should be tried as an adult and held accountable for his actions.”
