Management at Overlook reported that they have addressed the issue, but more work needs to be done to prevent it from happening in the future.
While the power is back on, residents said the last few days with on and off power were rough.
Power was restored Sunday evening around 11:30 p.m. after being out for hours.
The American Red Cross handed out bottled water while crews worked on the problem.
The power outages were caused by issues with one of the transformers, which has been fixed, according to Murrell Hubbs, Overlook Mutual Homes, Inc. Board of Trustees.
He added that long-term repairs are needed for their power grid.
"We have an old power grid and we know that," said Hubbs. "We have done work toward upgrading it already, but we do it in stages because of the finances involved."
Some of the neighbors said they were understanding and trust that it will be worked out in time.
"For all the people that are upset, I'm sorry; you can't prevent this," said Doug Anderson. "I think that they did an excellent job."
However, other residents said they want to know more details about how the power grid will be improved.
"Why is the power grid going off?" asked Kenneth Brewer. "They didn't give us a warning or nothing about it. It just goes out. Boom."
Management does not know how much it will cost to upgrade the power grid, but they are having experts look at it so they can get an estimate.
