Judy Silva and Bob Silva, former co-owners of Bahn Mai Thai Cafe in Washington Twp., opened the restaurant in 2013.
Judy Silva said that lower than expected sales, high rent, increasing material costs, constant employee turnover and high training costs were reasons behind the closure.
“We employed some of the best people, ever, who became my friends and I will always cherish,” Judy Silva said.
The couple ran Bahn Mai Thai for eight years before opening the Crazy Mango, which served a menu that included “international eclectic” dishes.
The closing impacted 25 employees at the restaurant.
