As of this morning, Jan. 23, the web site lists management positions to be filled first: general manager, assistant general manager and kitchen manager. Other positions, including line cooks, hosts and servers, will be hired later.

It’s not clear exactly when EO Burgers will shut down its operation at The Greene. EO Burgers officials have not yet released details beyond a sign posted on the restaurant entrance earlier this week that alerted customers: “This is our last week at The Greene,” and cautioned diners that the menu may be limited. The notice says EO Burgers will be opening at 520 Miamisburg-Centerville Road, which was formerly occupied by the restaurant side of Ollie’s Place.

“We thank everyone for your support at The Greene and will see you at our new location,” the EO Burgers notice says.
EO Burgers has operated at The Greene since March 2010. It opened as a new concept of "upscale but affordable burgers" from Ann Arbor-based Mainstreet Ventures.

The incoming tenant, Condado Tacos, opened its first restaurant in Columbus in 2014 and has added locations in the Columbus, Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis and Detroit areas.
Condado Tacos is “looking forward to being a member of the Dayton community,” said Hannah Vlk, field marketing manager for Condado Tacos.

Plans call for a 3,859-square-foot restaurant that seats about 173 inside and another 80 on a patio, Condado Tacos officials said. The new restaurant will employ 60 to 80.
Condado Tacos says it specializes in creating “unique tacos, guacamole, tequila and margaritas at affordable prices. Fresh, high-quality ingredients including salsas, toppings, proteins and tortilla chips — all made from scratch daily — are staples to Condado’s cuisine.”

Joe Kahn, founder and CEO of Condado Tacos, said in September 2019, after the restaurant chain applied for a liquor license to operate in the EO Burgers space at The Greene, that Dayton “is full of art, good food and local entertainment, and that’s what got us excited to open there in 2020.”

Condado Tacos will join another taco chain, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, which opened in a prominent location near the front entrance to The Greene in April 2018.
