Riverside man sentenced to prison for abduction, rape of children

A Riverside man was sentenced to 25 years in prison today after he was convicted of multiple sexual assault felonies, including rape and abduction against child victims.

Larry Lerma, 57, was found guilty and convicted of the following:

  • 2 counts of abduction
  • 3 counts of rape by force
  • 1 count of disseminating matter harmful to juveniles
  • 1 count of aggravated menacing

The victims were seven and eight-years old, according to Montgomery County Prosecutor Mat Heck, Jr.

Lerma will have to register as a Tier III sex offender upon his release.
