A construction vehicle struck a gas meter Tuesday evening, causing a leak that led to road closures in Moraine.
The road grader hit the gas meter around 6:30 p.m. in the 2800 block of North Springboro Pike (state Route 741), down the road from the Montgomery County Solid Waste District.

The meter was quickly switched off and the leak stopped, Moraine fire officials said.
No injuries were reported, and roads were reopened in about a half hour.
