“It appears that there was a drain up on that roof that runs from some of the buildings that had a common drain; it could have possibly got clogged or just overrun with water and too much weight collapsed it into the store,” Xenia Fire Chief Kenneth Riggsby said.

The building owner estimated damage between $20,000 and $30,000.
There were people inside the store, but no one was hurt. The collapse did not happen in the retail area, but where the business performs alterations, Riggsby said.
