>> Dense Fog Advisory in effect for much of area until Thursday morning

UPDATE @ 9:45 p.m.: Two people have been taken to area hospitals from the wreck on I-75 North in Warren County involving two semitrailers and a small passenger car.

One of the injured was in one of the semis; the other was driving the car that ended up underneath the trailer of one of the semis, said Sgt. Jacques Illanz, Lebanon Post, Ohio State Highway Patrol.

State patrol investigators are working to determine who was at fault, he said. According to the preliminary investigation, one of the semis was entering I-75 from the state Route 123 and collided with a second semi and the passenger car.

The driver of this small car suffered only minor injuries in Wednesday night's accident on I-75 North in Warren County that involved two other semitrailers, a state patrol sergeant said. (Jim Noelker/Staff)

One of the semis rolled. The other jackknifed. Illanz said one of the trailers was empty and the other was hauling food products.

Crews were dispatched to mop up diesel that spilled from one of the semis and was headed for a creek. Illanz said much of the spilled fuel was contained pretty quickly.

INITIAL REPORT

A three-vehicle wreck on I-75 North, just beyond state Route 123, has left two semitrailers and a passenger car in a grassy embankment well off the interstate.

The passenger vehicle is underneath the trailer of one of the big rigs.

Troopers with the Lebanon Post, Ohio State Highway Patrol, said at least two people have taken to a hospital but the injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

An Ohio EPA unit has been dispatched because of leaking fluids from the semitrailers in the accident that was reported about 7:43 p.m. There are several heavy-duty wreckers on scene.

The left lane remains open. The far right lane remains closed until further notice.

We will update this developing report.
