Troopers have identified a person of interest, but are working to contact them, according to OSP.
Injuries are minor, said patrol, though CareFlight was initially put on stand-by before being canceled.
The three were in a minivan that was struck on U.S. 42 at Selma Pike in Clark County by a red vehicle, believed to be an SUV, that ran a stop sign.
Troopers said the male driver who ran from the accident is believed to be in his 30s.
Around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday OSP employed its helicopter and troopers were shining headlights at barns and houses along U.S. 42 in the township as part of their search for the driver.
