Storms move through tonight; Flood Advisory for some

A Flood Advisory is in effect through 11:30 p.m. in Greene and Montgomery counties after heavy rains moved through this evening.

An inch of rain fell within 45 minutes tonight in Beavercreek, it was reported to the National Weather Service in Wilmington.

Minor flooding of low-lying and poorly drained streets, highways and underpasses is expected, and farmland near creeks, streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Overnight will be mostly cloudy with a chance for showers and thunderstorms. It will be humid with temperatures dropping to the upper 60s, according to the NWS.

A slight chance of showers and storms remains for Friday morning, than it will be partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon. The day will be humid with highs in the upper 80s. Rain chances continue Friday night, which will be muggy with lows in the mid-60s.

Saturday will be mostly sunny, although there is a slight chance for showers and storms in the morning and early afternoon. Highs will be near 86 degrees. Overnight, it will be mostly clear and calm with lows near 59 degrees.
