1 dog dies, 1 rescued during house fire in Beavercreek

One dog died in a fire Monday night, and a second was rescued from a home on White Oak Drive, according to Beavercreek Fire Capt. Ryan Williams.

Firefighters were dispatched around 8:20 p.m. on a reported structure fire in the 4000 block, according to initial reports.

Smoke was reportedly showing from the one-story house.

No one was home during the fire.

Damage estimates were not immediately available.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, Williams said.
