The Soin Medical Center in Beavercreek has been verified as a Level III trauma center by the American College of Surgeons after and on-site review of the facility that opened in October 2012, according to its parent, Kettering Health Network.
Verified trauma centers must meet certain criteria that ensure it has the ability to provide prompt diagnosis, resuscitation, surgery, intensive care and stabilization of injured patients and emergency operations, among other things.
