BUTLER TWP. – Spire Development and Fairfield Homes, Inc. has pulled their rezoning request regarding a proposed apartment complex from the Butler Township Trustee’s agenda.

The zoning commission heard the proposal at their Dec. 19 meeting and recommended approval. However, the proposal was tabled during the Jan. 9 meeting due to the absence of Nick Brusky, who has since resigned to accept a job with the Trump administration.

The developers filed the request in December regarding a 60-unit multi-family development at 7919 and 7929 N. Dixie Dr., just south of Dayton Memorial Park. The original plans called for 44 townhomes and 16 flats with a range of 1-3 bedrooms.
