>>Wright-Patt's tasty tradition continues to delight
"Buying groceries and preparing a meal for this classroom of students with exceptional needs has turned into a multi-faceted, cross-curricular lesson," said Gail Wright, Intervention Specialist at Springboro High School.
The students brainstorm meals or other foods they want to learn to make, Wright said, and this time chose “The World’s Greatest Lasagna.”
In addition to teaching students how to prepare the meals, Springboro High School said in a release, the lesson taught the students how to plan and prepare food for friends who are vegetarians or have food sensitivities, while letting them practice their math skills.
