Voters passed a levy in 2017 to pay for the nine new 2019 Ford Police Interceptors, which will replace those purchased in 2009.

“When we went to voters to pass the levy two years ago, we committed to put those dollars toward our first responders,” said City Manager Bryan Heck. “The purchase of these vehicles is an essential part of that commitment having the best, most effective equipment so our men and woman in uniform have the tools they need to do their job.”
