Dufner, 30, is being treated for a medical issue unrelated to his arrest, the sergeant said.
Police were dispatched to the address on a report that a woman, believed by police to be his live-in girlfriend, was being kept against her will.
Dufner is wanted on at least three warrants that carry several charges, the sergeant said. Two are for domestic violence. The third is for weapons possession as a felon.

Police have taken the man into custody to end the SWAT standoff at the house on North Belmont Avenue that began six hours ago.

He was found in the basement and was forced out when the SWAT team fired tear gas into the wood frame house, Springfield Police Division Sgt. Nick Holt said.
The man Holt said is known to police and is wanted on multiple warrant has been taken to a hospital for observation. He’ll be taken to the Clark County Jail after the hospital visit, the sergeant said.

Springfield police have blocked off parts of North Belmont Avenue as a man, who reportedly has guns, refuses to come out.

Members of SWAT have positioned themselves in front of the man’s house, while others are in a nearby yard.
The situation as of 2 p.m. seemed to be static and no movement has been made by police.
A SWAT vehicle is parked in front of a home and several police officers, armed with assault rifles, are on the street.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is also on scene. No vehicles, other than police cruisers, have entered the scene since 1:50 p.m.

SWAT is responding to a house in Springfield this afternoon after reports a woman was being held against her will.
Initial reports indicate the woman was able to text a friend, who called police.
The woman is now out of the house on North Belmont Avenue, but the man, who reportedly has guns, refuses to come out, according to police.
