2 taken to hospital after crash at Edison State campus in Greenville

Two people were taken to the hospital Monday afternoon after a crash in the parking lot of a community college campus, according to Greenville Police Department.

A black Volvo and green Ford Focus collided in the lot of Edison State Community College at Greenville on Wagner Avenue.

According to our crew on scene, one person was extricated from the passenger side of one of the vehicles.

The Volvo was traveling north on Wagner Avenue when it struck the Focus that was traveling east on Rhoades Avenue, which pushed both vehicles into the campus parking lot, Greenville police said.

It’s unknown how many occupants total, but two of them were transported to Wayne Health Care with unknown injuries.

Greenville City Fire and EMS responded to the crash.
