Tickets still available for UD Stander Symposium

DAYTON - There are still a limited amount of free tickets left for tonight's University of Dayton's 2010 Stander Symposium event featuring Blake Mycoskie, philanthropist and founder of TOMS Shoes.

The free event starts at 7 p.m. at the Kennedy Union Ballroom, 300 College Park, on UD's campus. However, attendees must have tickets to enter.

Mycoskie founded TOMS Shoes in 2006 and has given more than 130,000 pairs of shoes to children in need. He has emerged as a thought leader in the area of socially conscious business, according to Andrea Wade, UD spokeswoman.
