Lane closures and detours are scheduled to begin Wednesday on Ohio 48 at Whipp Road.

The temporary closing will occur between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. through June 19, according to the city of Centerville.

Contractors will have daily right lane closures for signal installation and concrete work at the intersection, according to the city.

EARLIER: Black Lives Matter rally set to be held in Oakwood

The right turn lane from Ohio 48, or Far Hills Avenue, north to Whipp Road east will be closed as needed during this time for concrete work, according to the city.

Detour signs will be posted. The right through-lane and the right turn lane for Ohio 48 north traffic will not be closed simultaneously, city officials said.
