Train derailment temporarily closes Springfield intersections

UPDATE @ 4:17 p.m.:

Crews have worked to free the cars of the train that were derailed from the track and the other vehicles are now moving, clearing the intersection of Burnett Road.

The Leffel Lane intersection with the track is still closed, but should be cleared shortly.

A possible train derailment in Springfield has caused officials to block traffic at Burnett Road and Leffel Lane.
