William D. Jones, 17, was arraigned on rape, aggravated burglary, kidnapping and aggravated robbery charges in Montgomery County court Tuesday. His bond was set at $500,000.
News Center 7 previously had not named the teen because he had not been charged as an adult.
The Montgomery County Prosecutor's Office filed a motion to transfer his case to adult court earlier this year.
Jones reportedly raped a 24-year-old and 34-year-old at gunpoint on two different occasions in December.
There was DNA evidence at both scenes that led to his arrest, said Trotwood police.
The incidents were reported on Dec. 3 and Dec. 5 with Jones reportedly entering the residences through a back window in one case and a back door in the other.
"This 16-year-old defendant entered into the home of strangers in the cover of night and raped two women at gunpoint," said Prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. earlier this year. "We will not tolerate juveniles brandishing a firearm and committing violent felonies. This defendant should be tried as an adult and held accountable for his actions."
