Troy councilman injured in rollover crash

UPDATE @ 10:50 p.m.:

A Troy city councilman flown this afternoon to Miami Valley Hospital following a rollover crash was listed in fair condition tonight.

Tom Kendall was taken to the hospital after his car flipped over around 3:45 p.m. in a two-car crash at the intersection of Saratoga and Michael Drives in Troy. He suffered head and knee injuries, but was expected to be OK.

The other driver was identified as Carol Phillips, also of Troy, who was taken to Upper Valley Medical Center.

According to Troy police, one of the two cars went through the two-way stop sign at the time of the crash, which remains under investigation.

CareFlight was called to a two-vehicle crash with injuries this afternoon at the intersection of Saratoga and Michael drives in Troy.

The crash was reported around 3:45 p.m., according to Miami County dispatch.

According to initial reports, one of the cars flipped over in the crash.
