Shawn Whitaker, 32, received his sentence in U.S. District Court Thursday, after pleading guilty to charges of producing child pornography in November 2017, officials said.

Court documents show Whitaker was involved in a sexual relationship with a 15-year-old girl from November 2016 to March 2017, according to the department’s media release Thursday. Whitaker recorded sexual activity with the minor on his phone and also took multiple sexually explicit photographs, officials said.
While investigators searched electronic devices, they found sexually explicit photographs he took of a 5-year-old girl.
