Two companies are looking to occupy space at new buildings near the Dayton International Airport, according to city records and commercial real estate marketing materials.

NorthPoint Development is building space for Pratt Industries and General Pet Supply inside two warehouses the company has built on Dog Leg Road and Concord Drive.

Inside a 433,715-square-foot, one-story warehouse at 10451 Dog Leg Road, the company is building 233,085 square feet of space for Pratt.

Pratt Industries says it is the fifth largest box manufacturer in the nation and is the "world's largest, privately held 100 percent recycled paper and packaging company." The company has more than 8,000 workers at facilities across the nation, including in Dayton, Springfield, Mason and Lewisburg.

NorthPoint also has requested a commercial building permit for 2700 Concorde Drive.

The firm is doing a fit-out for about 99,155 square feet of space in the southwest corner of building 2. Building 2 is a 511-776 square foot facility that already has Land O’Lakes Inc./Purina Animal Nutrition as a tenant.

The fit out is for General Pet Supply, based at 6528 Poe Ave. in Dayton. The company says it sells products to the pet specialty and veterinarian markets. The company, which distributes pet food and supllies, was acquired by Wisconsin-based Central Garden & Pet in 2018.
