UPDATE: Local man killed in Pike County Kentucky plane crash

Coroners have identified one of the victims of the plane crash in Pike County Kentucky as 70 year old David Cowherd of Slagle Road in Washington Township.  Coroners say the pilot of the plane was also killed.  He has been identified as 50 year old David Miller of Portland Indiana.  The plane was registered to Miller Aviation of Portland Indiana.  Miller Aviation is an on-demand charter service flying both cargo and passengers.  The company's website lists David Miller as the owner of the company and Director of Operations.  The Cessna 310 left Dayton's Wright Brothers Airport around 11:30 Wednesday morning and crashed about a mile south of the Pike County Regional Airport near Pikeville, Kentucky around 1 o'clock in the afternoon.  The FAA is investigating.
