Three people in hospital after crash that trapped one of them in Dayton

UPDATE @ 5:41 a.m.:

Three people were injured, one seriously, after a vehicle crashed into a house in the 100 block of Gramont Avenue just before 3 a.m., according to Dayton Police Sgt. Chad Knedler.

All three were taken to area hospitals.

Knedler said that the fire department inspected the structure to determine if the house was still safe for the residents to stay, but he did not know the results.

He also said that it was too early in the investigation to know what caused the crash, particularly because the three occupants of the car are being treated for their injuries.

This crash remains under investigation.

INITIAL REPORT:

Three people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a house in the 100 block of Gramont Avenue, one of which had to be cut free from the crash.

Our crew on scene reported seeing the person being cut out of the vehicle and one taken to the hospital. He also reported another ambulance on scene, and reported that three people were removed from the crash, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
