Veterans Day: Food deals in Springfield

Veterans and active-duty service members will be honored for their services and sacrifices at restaurants on Veterans Day, Monday, Nov. 11.

Many restaurants are offering free and discounted meals.

To claim these deals, guests must show proof of military service or military ID.

Here is a list of Springfield restaurants offering deals: 

Applebee's: Veterans and active-duty service members can select a free meal from a limited menu.

Bob Evans: Veterans and active-duty service members can get free select menu items for free.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store: Veterans receive a free Double Chocolate Fudge Coca-Cola Cake dessert or Crafted Coffee beverage.

Golden Corral: Veterans, retirees, and active-duty service members receive a free dine-in dinner from 5 to 9 p.m.

Little Caesars Pizza: Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free $5 Hot-N-Ready lunch combo meal from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

O'Charley's: Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free mean from a select menu.

Panera: Veterans can receive a free You-Pick-Two meal.

Red Lobster: Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free appetizer or dessert from a select menu.

Texas Roadhouse: Veterans and active-duty service members can select a free entree from a select menu from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

White Castle: Veterans and active-duty service members can get a free combo meal from numbers 1-6 on the menu.
